Csa members join a farm early in the season by purchasing a share of that farm s products in advance. We put compost and soil in big 5 gallon pots and placed those in a turned over lid of a plastic trash can as pro gardeners we use a lot of 35 gal buckets and these lids often come with them. The tomatoes are grown in small bags of rockwool substrate made from spinning together molten basaltic rock into fine fibres which contains nutrients and allows the plants to soak up water even when moisture levels are low.
